Le Centquatre - Visual Identity Design Proposal

I wanted to make a logo that would convey the dynamic quality of Le Centquatre and its versatility through movement using repetition. The repetition and overlapping of the lines mimics the diversity and fluidity of a space that constantly makes room for all kinds of forms of expression. After realizing that I preferred the impact of a thicker font but felt that line repetition best suited my concept, I decided to merge the two ideas, which is what led me to the final design for the logo. This resulted in making a logo with overlapping flowing lines which represent Le Centquatre’s aim to bring together diverse artists as well as disciplines in one space. The interconnected lines mirror the interconneted quality of a space that engages itself in creating a collaborative environment.
